Kids Helping Kids

Straight, Inc.

Both programs require parents and children
to write Moral Inventories

Both programs use some or all of the AA Steps,
the 3 Signs and the
5 Criteria.

Both programs have the same version of
"confidentiality" and lead
clients and parents to believe it is illegal to talk
about what occurs within
the confines of the facility and in their own homes.
In fact, medical confidentiality laws ONLY
effect employees of the program.

Kids Helping Kids and Straight, Inc. have
nearly identical rules covering many topics
including "dime therapy", "eye games", "stashes",
"playing off", and "belt-looping".

Both programs use identical program lingo.
No such document exists for Straight, but anyone
familiar with the cult can easily recognize this fact.

Kids Helping Kids and Straight, Inc. have
similar rules governing parents.

Both programs use an identical "phase" system
for clients.

Kids Helping Kids and Straight, Inc. promote
and advocate the teachings of *Miller Newton,
aka Dr. V. Miller Newton,
Father Cassian Newton.

*More information regarding Miller Newton/Father Cassian Newton and his "treatment" methods is available on our Archives Page and at www.thestraights.com
